She is a medical doctor with a Masters in Public Health and has over 20 years of experience in management, design, and implementation of population and family health programs.

Her most recent research has focused on contraception, medical and surgical abortion, microbicides, and cervical barriers for HIV/STI prevention. Kelly received the 2009 Darroch award for excellence in sexual and reproductive health research.

Anjali is currently working with the Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi, as a Senior Lecturer. Her areas of interest are strengthening health policies focusing on health inequality and bridging policy gaps through operations research and advocacy.

Before joining Gynuity, she was a Staff Program Associate at the Population Council, where she was involved with clinical studies of mifepristone medical abortion and social science research related to abortion.
