Dr. Nanda is Pathfinder International Country Representative for India. Prior to joining Pathfinder, she was Senior Advisor and Director of Public Health at the American India Foundation. She has also held technical and managerial posts with various UN agencies, including UNFPA, UNIFEM, and UNDP. She has a Doctorate in International Education. Dr. Nanda has been working for over 15 years at the international, national, and community levels to secure women’s rights. Her strong background in the non-profit sector includes knowledge of women’s and children’s’ rights, strategy development, building private public partnerships, and programming in complex resource-poor settings with multi-disciplinary teams and partnerships.

After some years working on international maternal and child health issues for NGOs and the UK Department for International Development, Sarah Neal completed her PhD in Neonatal Health in Developing Countries in 2009. She is currently working on an Atlas of Birth with the Universities of Southampton and Aberdeen and the White Ribbon Alliance.

Dr. Tajkera Noor, a medical graduate from Bangladesh Medical College, completed her Masters in Public Health from Umea, Sweden. Working in Naripokko as Program Officer, she is responsible for providing supervision and monitoring of the WHRAP program implementation. Before working in Naripokko. she was a practicing physician for maternal and child health for seven years.
