Catharine specializes in designing and implementing public health programs, capacity-building approaches for NGOs, and health systems strengthening.

Gaudiaso Mugyabuso has been a midwife and midwifery educator in Tanzania for 29 years. In her role as a Jhpiego senior technical manager, she provides national leadership in areas related to Tanzanian midwifery care and education. 

Mari Tikkanen is the founder and Managing Director of M4ID. The agency’s mission is to harness new communication technology for social change. Prior to heading up M4ID, Mari worked for 12 years in external relations and campaigning for various organization including WHO, UNFPA, IPPF, AMREF and Aurat Foundation (Pakistan). Mari holds a Master of Science in Population and Development from the London School of Economics.

Erika Troncoso, Research and Evaluation Associate, Ipas Mexico. Erika has been working on reproductive health for more than 10 years in the fields of qualitative and quantitative methodologies addressing women's needs in Latin America. In Mexico, Erika has been specialized in abortion related research.

Amy Tsui is a Professor of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on reproductive health issues in resource-poor countries, primarily the impact of preconception care (family planning) on linked sexuality and fertility outcomes.
