Ethiopia's contraceptive prevalence is one of the lowest rates in Africa.  Since 85 percent of the population lives in rural areas where half of which are illiterate, it is incredibly hard to reach family planning messages and services to the women of Ethiopia.  This article breaks down CAREs partnership with the Ethiopian government to improve awareness of and access to quality reproductive health services in rural communities through the Family Planning and HIV/AIDS Prevention Program.
