Advancing Dialogue on Maternal Health Series
The MHTF, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars Global Health Initiative, is convening the Advancing Dialogue on Maternal Health series. As with the first series of these dialogues, convened from 2009–2011, the 2012–2013 program brings together senior-level policymakers, academic researchers, media and civil servants from around the world to identify challenges and discuss strategies for advancing the maternal health agenda. Dialogues are typically held at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC, and webcast live.
In addition to events hosted by the Wilson Center in Washington, DC, two country-level dialogues have been included in the dialogue series: one in Nairobi, Kenya, with the African Population and Health Research Center and one in New Delhi, India, with the Population Foundation of India. Upcoming as well as past events in the 2012–2013 dialogue series are listed below. Additional information on events in the dialogue series, including maps and directions, RSVP information, and a video archive of past events, will also be available at the Wilson Center Global Health Events page.
